Neabot Nomo N2 Robot Vacuum Cleaner Review

Neabot Nomo N2 Robot Vacuum Cleaner Review

Robot vacuum cleaners have become very common and are widely available so it is more difficult than before for smaller and new players to stand out from the competition. Some have tried hiring gimmicks to get their products to be considered, while others have tried to tempt consumers at cheaper prices. However, not all of these methods work, and some people are left with regretting buyers for their purchases. Even so, there is no shortage of new competitors who claim to check all the right boxes, including NOMO N2 Robo-Vacuum NEABOT, which we recently tested.

Design

Because the Robot VACS starts to be the usual thing, so have the design. There are very few surprises when it comes to how this automatic home cleaner is visible, and it’s probably the best. The similarity brings the level of familiarity in the product line, which in turn, inspires trust in something that is still relatively new compared to traditional dust cleaners.

In terms of basic forms, Nomo N2 is no different from its rival. Robot Vacuum Cleaner comes in the form of discs with very famous details outside the small pieces above the Lidar Robot Housing. Just like many other robot vacuum, Neabot decides to use shiny material to cover the surface of the engine, making it a perfect dust and fingerprint magnet.

The charging dock is also typical in the sense that it is narrower than the robot itself. It is also higher than most of the charging dock because it holds a trash can with a capacity of 2.8 liters. The bin closure is open to reveal a garbage bag, which can be removed by the user or enter using a cardboard slide in it.

Unlike the robot itself, the filling station has a strange matte surface in contrast to a shiny robot, making it look like two separate products. It also provides cheaper appearance stations that can be easily misinterpreted for trash cans.

Show

Nelabot Nomo N2 may not have appearance, but at least take a walk. Dual vacuuming functionality and mopping it gives the essence of a modern robot vacuum, while the self-dust feature is still on the way to being a staple in this kind of product. All of this while keeping a relatively low price label.

With a maximum suction power of 2,700 pa, Nomo N2 is not the strongest vacuum on the market, but it does a fairly decent job, even on the carpet. The device can automatically adjust the suction level, apply the strongest pull in the carpet while minimizing the battery disposal on the hard floor. It took an average of 30 minutes to make a full round of the house, and with a battery life of about two hours, he had a lot of juice left for another session.

On his first trip, Robot VAC studied the layout of your floor and could map the depending on different types of floor types. This is important, for example, when it automatically paused the mopping function when rolling into a carpeted area. The robot also detects whether the removable mop is actually attached and will not activate the function if not.

Noma N2 floor layout mapping is quite accurate and Lidar does a good job to detect obstacles. In fact, it does a job that is too good and can avoid what he thinks as a wall or curtains, stays away from them while leaving dust and dirt that is not clean on the edge.

There is no perfect robot here, and you may still go to places where it shouldn’t be from time to time. That’s when you set the no-go zone in the application, if you notice it will be trapped in a certain area too often.

The self-emptying process is a bit of a hit or Miss, depending on what vacuum can be sucked during the trip. Larger particles like hair and feathers can block small hallways from robots to trash, making that feature it’s of no use. It can also be a bit noisy, so you might want to deactivate it at night and just manually collect dust at your convenience.
